Confection Delights Offers Chocolate Fun In Hendricks County
One of my favorite stops while visiting Danville, Indiana was Confection Delights, which is located downtown at 57 South Washington Street. The shop here is quaint and really a fun, tasty chocolate shop. Pamela Powell-Warden is the proud owner and she will greet you with an infectious smile and a lot of chocolate!
You will find all sorts of chocolate candy while in Confection Delights. Holiday themed chocolate can be found, as well as chocolate shoes! Imagine these shoes at a Princess themed birthday party for a young girl. These shoes are a size 6, 14 ounce chocolate high heeled shoe. I thought these were gorgeous. Keep in mind, Pamela will ship her chocolate right to your doorsteps.
Christmas time brings pretzels with green and red frosting , as well as decorated ornaments. How fun is this?
Christmas is not the only season of chocolate you will find in Confection Delights. Valentine’s Day brings all sorts of pinks, reds, and whites. The creativity flows right into all the holidays throughout the year. Pamela’s creativity will wow you!
Confection Delights is not a large store. The setting is small, yet very welcoming. Keep in mind that special orders are welcome and do take time. Pamela cares about quality and wants your products to arrive fresh, intact, and beautiful.
So, the next time you’ve got a craving for chocolate, take a swing into Danville, Indiana’s finest chocolate shop, Confection Delights.
Sunday/Monday: Closed
Tuesday-Friday: 10am-4pm
Saturday: 10am-4pm
Cake pops are also offered, in almost any color of the rainbow. School spirit sticks, graduation chocolates, and wedding chocolates are just a small sampling of what else you will find available at Confection Delights.
And the best thing about these fun chocolate items is the fact that you can eat them. Chocolate lovers will dive in, but art lovers may have to take a few moments to admire these works of art. Have you visited Confection Delights? Do you have a favorite chocolate creation? If so, I’d love to hear about it!
* A special thank you to the team of Visit Hendricks County for the hospitality provided on the HoHoTour 2013.
