Hugging the Lake Michigan shoreline and snuggled right between Chicago and Milwaukee, lies Kenosha, WI. As the Visit Kenosha website says, “Discover what lies beyond the expected”. After visiting Kenosha in early May, we now understand what this means. From beaches, lighthouses and amazing museums on the lakefront to Jelly Belly candies, an Italian deli, and a cheese castle, Kenosha has something for everyone. I have visited several lighthouses over the course of the past few months, as they always offer nostalgia to the community they are located in.
