Albert Lea, Minnesota is the first city you will encounter while traveling north on I- 35, as you cross from Iowa into Minnesota. Known as the Land Between Lakes, Albert Lea is a happening community. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy fishing, biking and boating. While art enthusiasts enjoy the culture that the community has to offer. Wind Down Wednesday is a huge gathering of folks from the community during the summer months.
Christmas time brings holiday celebrations and more, which of course, feature wagon rides through the downtown. Don’t forget that Eddie Cochran Days celebrates the famous musician, and the local theater boasts a famous name from “Happy Days”- Marion Ross.
