I love a good zoo! Zoos are family friendly, affordable, and fun for everyone. The Dakota Zoo in Bismarck, North Dakota, offers a variety of animals, including penguins, badgers, alligators, bison, bobcats, bears, pigs, and many more. I loved the miniature horses.
I don’t recall seeing miniature horses at any of the zoos I have recently visited. On my visit they were visible, but had no interest in posing for a photo. Tip: If you have kids that love trains, purchase train tickets with your admission ticket.
