I’ve grown to truly love Medora, North Dakota, and everything this picturesque western town has to offer. For a comfy stay right in the heart of this community of ~130 residents, the AmericInn Medora is a fantastic choice. The property recently underwent full updates, and the bright new paint and fresh furnishings create an exceptionally warm, inviting stay.

For families heading to Medora, this is a property that I would highly suggest. It offers spacious areas in each room, along with amenities kids enjoy. The indoor swimming pool is a nice amenity for families looking to splash around and let the kids wear off extra energy in the water. After a day of exploring the national park, a swimming pool and/or hot tub make for a good way to close out any day.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park- Best National Park For Families

I would highly recommend driving into Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the early morning or evening. The “golden hour” provides some stunning photo opportunities. The bison roam freely and the prairie dogs are always entertaining.

The Americinn is your base camp for experiences unique to Medora and the surrounding area. Let’s face it, vacation should be about enjoying the experience and not having to worry about your lodging. The Americinn staff will help you feel at home.
