Must Pack Accessories To Take On Your Next Trip
So you’re getting ready to plan that next vacation and I have several summer travel tips for you. It’s so exciting, getting out your lists, booking hotels and flights, planning itineraries and more. For most of us, planning a vacation is almost as fun as actually going on vacation. Let’s face it: Planning is one of the very best parts of travel.
Planning for your next American Road Trip has never been more fun, than now.
These summer travel tips will help you pack smarter. You should not find yourself panicking for replacement items. You can often purchase fun accessories at specialty shops at your final destination. Cute sunglasses are often easy to find at specialty shops, but they will not be the ones that you left at home.
Below, we’ve listed out a quick guide of items that you should definitely bring along when traveling; easy to pack stuff that fits into any carry-on, that will save you time and money so you don’t have to worry about little details while you’re enjoying the trip of a lifetime.
Sunglasses
You definitely want to bring a pair of glasses – or two or three – along with you on your trip. If you want, bring a pair for every occasion. In addition to fitting in with your style and aesthetic, you need your sunglasses to be comfortable. There’s nothing worse than a pair of sunglasses that are uncomfortable, don’t fit right, or don’t go with your seasonal outfit. You need something that suits you wherever you are – the beach or ziplining!

Luckily, you can find durable, functional, comfortable, stylish, accessible, and affordable glasses these days. No matter your preferences, needs, or style choices, there are lots of options out there for you. Shopping for sunglasses doesn’t have to be a chore. You can do it online, making it a fun and rewarding experience and have a different pair for every trip.
You might also want to invest in some accessories for your favorite sunglasses. A fun glasses case is always a smart choice when it comes to traveling with glasses of any sort. Lens learners, neck chains or loops to keep your glasses handy are always helpful, as well.
It used to be that everyone bought their sunglasses at whatever store they happened to be at – but these days sunglasses are a true fashion accessory. Many celeb brands have some adorable, bright and affordable styles; brands like Ray-Ban continue to release incredible, sporty styles that are as timeless as they are popular, high-end designers such as Gucci and Michael Kors have some truly sophisticated and eye-catching looks, and one of the more popular brands among women, Vera Bradley glasses, offer beautiful, classic and colorful options for women who want a little extra loveliness on those beautiful frames. If you need heavy-duty sunglasses for work or sport, you might be worried that whatever you choose isn’t going to be as fashionable. But luckily, many brands are making sun-and-weather-friendly glasses that will protect you from the elements fashionably. It doesn’t matter if you’re skiing the slopes, on the beach, out on a fishing boat, ziplining, or enjoying a tropical climate. the tropics.
Sunscreen
It seems like a given, but you’d be surprised at how many people forget to pack sunscreen before they leave on vacation. Yes, you can buy these items pretty much anywhere, but be prepared by packing what your skin appreciates. A nasty sunburn of any type is something that nobody wants to experience while on vacation. Don’t leave it up to chance – pack your favorite sun care products in your Vera Bradley Bag. Common sense says that if you are headed to the beach, do not skimp on sunscreen products.
Flip Flops
You will want to pack smart, but not packing too many shoes. I am guilty of packing several pairs of shoes, but I try to make sure that I have a pair of flip flops for the beach or pool. My Merrell flip flops make for great beach sandals, as they offer support and are easy to remove. Your water shoes are also good to pack if you will be snorkeling along a shoreline. This will keep your feet from tangling with the rocks in the water.
A Spare Charger
How many of you have lost your phone charger or other device chargers while on vacation? It’s a great rule of thumb to buy a cheap charger to keep nearby while traveling. You never know when you may actually need one. It is a fact. I have been caught at the airport without a charger in tow, more than once.
A Good Book
Many of us don’t think of books as being synonymous with vacation. In reality, it’s a relaxing way to spend part of your vacation. Whether you’re on the plane, lounging on the beach, or enjoying your morning coffee on the balcony somewhere beautiful, a book fills your soul with goodness.
There are so many great beach reads out there, fun and exciting books that will go perfectly with any destination choice, whether you’re into romance, historical, thrillers or rock biographies.
I hope these summer travel tips help make your summer vacation epic. Now, go out and enjoy your summer and pack smart.
Happy Traveling~ Sara
